Description: Five Crowns Restaurant has been on Coast Highway in Corona del Mar as long as I can remember. It has always been a beautiful English building with an iconic red British telephone booth sitting beside a lovely English garden that always seemed to be in bloom. The landmark held great mystery for a 16 years old just learning to drive. It was rumored, never confirmed, that the windows in the upstairs belonged to a brothel.
